BEL showcases capabilities at Naval seminar
BEL organised a naval technology seminar and products exhibition at the Southern Naval Command, Naval Base, Kochi, on May 3, 2013, showcasing its wide range of systems and solutions for the Indian Navy. Vice Admiral Satish Soni, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command, was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he appreciated BEL’s efforts in indigenisation and said that he was happy with the support provided by BEL to the Indian Navy. In his keynote address, Mr Anil Kumar, Chairman & Managing Director, BEL, said, “It is our endeavour to arm our customers with state-of-the-art technology. Accordingly, we have beefed up our R&D efforts in making the latest technology available to the Navy.”
